Military expert and communications and REB specialist Sergey “Flash” published a short analysis of the Russian Federation’s night attack on Ukraine. The author concludes that the air defense forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did a titanic and very professional job.
He noted that when Patriot systems automatically shoot down ballistic missiles, it is largely the merit of partners who gave Ukraine such high-quality systems. However, it was Ukrainian defenders who played the main role in repelling today’s massive attack, he said.
Flesh emphasized that the actions of the AFU this night “have no analogues in the world.” According to him, it is unlikely that any other state would have been able to repel an elaborate attack involving more than half a thousand enemy air targets – a colossal figure by the standards of any armed conflict and any country.

Indeed, the superb performance of Ukrainian sky defenders is too often overlooked. Last night, they did another splendid job.
