British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley said he was happy about Russian sanctions against him, “if this is a price for Ukrainian freedom.”

“The Russian government has imposed sanctions on me. Okay. If this is the price for supporting Ukrainian freedom, then I am happy with the sanctions,” Cleverly wrote on Twitter.

Recall, Cleverly said earlier that the provision of tanks to Ukraine may well be part of the “next stage” of arms supplies to Kiev.

Sanctions against the UK – what is known

On January 12, it became known that the Russian Federation blacklisted 36 representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers , law enforcement agencies and journalists from Great Britain.

The restrictions were allegedly introduced “in connection with the anti-Russian course of the British government,” which “continues to actively apply the mechanism of personal sanctions and conducts an intensive propaganda campaign to discredit Russia.”

It is worth noting that  Great Britain actively imposed sanctions  on politicians and oligarchs from Russia, and London also actively supports Kiev.

  1. The triumvirate that formulates UK military aid to Ukraine; James Cleverley, Ben Wallace and Rishi, have already determined that last year’s £4.3bn to Ukraine will increase, despite the UK’s continued economic problems*. We need allocate 10% of our military spend to Ukraine, which would put spending up to around £8bn.
We already sent Sea King Helicopters. The Mirror reported that Apaches are on the way too. Unfortunately this is not confirmed.
30 more long range artillery systems are on their way now and more announcements will come soon.
Four of the twelve promised Challenger 2 tanks are on their way now. We need to send another 40 IMO. Plus Apaches and a squadron of Tornadoes.
*A cadre of Irish communists, headed by Mick Lynch, dominates the UK trade union movement. They are trying to force a general strike. Unbelievably, Lynch’s henchmen are pally with the nazi thugs that run the occupied areas of the Donbas. They probably have very thick MI5 files. Britain is remarkably tolerant of kremlin fifth columnists; always has been. Time to change that policy and string the bastards up for aiding and abetting a genocidal fascist power.
