The cause of the explosions and fire at military warehouses in Bryansk was drones of the “Bober”, “Baklan” and “Obriy” types.

On the evening of June 26 , strike UAVs of the Main Intelligence Directorate ( GUR ) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck the storage facilities for rocket fuel and fuel and lubricants of the 1061st MTZ Center of the Russian Armed Forces in Bryansk. 

As UNIAN was told by intelligence sources, local social media initially reported the flights of unknown UAVs. Later, residents of Bryansk began complaining about explosions and a fire in one of the city’s districts. Some locals did not even hide the exact location and target of the attack.

“There were four explosions – the oil depot is on fire,” write local residents. 

Intelligence sources have revealed that the cause of the explosions and fires at military warehouses in Bryansk were drones of the “Bober”, “Baklan” and “Obriy” types.

“The destruction of the rocket fuel and fuel and lubricants warehouse in Bryansk is part of a complex of actions to reduce the logistical capabilities of the Russian occupation army,” the source said.

Strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation

As UNIAN reported, on June 1, the SBU conducted a unique special operation, called “Web”. During the operation, four military airfields in the Russian rear were simultaneously hit: “Olenya”, “Ivanovo”, “Dyagilevo” and “Belaya”. 

Former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, military expert Ivan Stupak believes that Russia may be preparing an operation against Ukraine similar to the one conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine, which was called “Web”. According to him, each side is copying the experience of the other. In particular, the Russian Federation will copy everything that Ukraine did.
