We have been reduced to be stooges to dictators of this world, especially the worst one of all in mafia land. I feel deeply disgusted by Trump and very ashamed to be an American.
Europe must come out of this with its fists up. It is indeed time for the continent to DO MORE for its security. The first move is to make sure that Ukraine wins this war. This would also be a most powerful step. Anything less will have dire consequences for Europe.

Marshall is right that the UK could provide a division. But incorrect about having only 60,000 troops in total.
Despite the cuts, if you include the Marines (RN) and reserves, we still have around 130,000 combat troops available.
As for ammo, that’s another matter, which must be urgently addressed.
A division each from Poland, the UK, France and Germany would be a good start.
Can we ask our commonwealth friends Canada, Aus and NZ to help out?

Add air support, plus of course Ukraine’s 900,000 strong army and you have a decent deterrent.

time to exchange NATo for ETO , European Treaty Organization and help Ukraine win and include Ukraine in it, and use European weapons and ammo.
