The German government has agreed to transfer 1.5 million doses of AstraZeneca covid vaccine to Ukraine. Vaccinations are expected to ship shortly.

Ukraine has become one of the largest recipients of vaccines from Germany. Vietnam, which will receive 2.6 million doses of AstraZeneca, is in first place, followed by Egypt and Ghana, which will receive 1.2 million vaccines each.
Germany will donate more than 10 million doses of coronavirus vaccines to the international program for equal access to medicines COVAX.
