The German Ministry of Defense does not believe that Ukraine will be able to launch a counteroffensive in the near future.
Germany is not going to transfer large military equipment to Ukraine, except for the one already declared, reports BILD , referring to the documents of the Ministry of Defense.
Thus, after the shipment of 18 Leopard 2 tanks, there will be no further deliveries, although the Bundeswehr has about 300 such tanks. The same applies to other types of equipment – infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled howitzers.
“The German Ministry of Defense does not believe that Ukraine will be able to launch a counteroffensive in the near future to liberate its territories,” the publication adds.
According to BILD, during his tour of Europe with a “victory plan”, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi put forward two main demands, in particular to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The first is permission to use Western weapons against strategic targets in Russia, for which Ukraine needs further supplies of long-range weapons – Storm Shadow from Great Britain, Scalp EG from France and Taurus from Germany. And the second is an accelerated procedure for joining NATO (including security guarantees for Russia).
“According to BILD, these demands were received in Berlin without enthusiasm. Scholz did not say an unequivocal ‘no’, but he did not give a positive answer either,” the newspaper writes.
As political scientist Carlo Masala noted in a BILD commentary, Zelenskyi did not advance on two key points of his victory plan, “therefore, from the point of view of Ukraine, the European tour turned out to be a failure.”
The situation worsened due to the fact that US President Joe Biden canceled a planned meeting regarding military support for Ukraine in Ramstein, Germany. The official reason is Hurricane Milton, which hit the coast of Florida, but according to BILD’s source, this is just an excuse.
Biden allegedly does not want to comment on Russia’s war against Ukraine before the US elections.
“No new statements, no new aid,” concluded the military blogger German Aid To Ukraine, which documents all German military aid to Ukraine.

This is a good measure … if you want your genderless soldiers digging trenches and taking a stab at fighting the cockroach army. This is what will happen if Ukraine loses.
Scholz is gone next year and hopefully a better, more competent and especially a more courageous chancellor will take his place. He’s running again (thus far) but his chances are nearly zero to ever see this post again. Scholz is highly unpopular in Germany.

First, Germany’s Ministry of Defense has a piss-poor reputation. This is the same country that put complete greenhorns in the ministry’s top position … once a gynecologist, for crying out loud! Second, how can Ukraine launch an offensive with such rubber-spined friends? Perpetually sending too little, too late, and plastering this aid with restrictions is an absurd strategy.
Let’s hope for a better German government once this prick and his useless government are gone.
“once a gynecologist, for crying out loud!”
Makes sense, if you think the ministers are a bunch of pussies…
You got a point there, Larry. 😂
