The IRIS-T air defence system, recently delivered from Germany, is already in active use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the country’s south.

Background: On 12 October, Ukraine’s Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov confirmed that Ukraine had received its first IRIS-T air defence system from Germany.

That was quick! I think I’ve never seen a weapon system being announced, shipped and employed so quickly as this one.
Please, Ukraine friends, send more, just as quick!
Too bad it was just one array for now, but I’m sure Ukraine will put it great use and probably get more ideas for a domestically produced system. I hear some HAWKs are on the way from Spain if they aren’t there already.
