Merkel wishes to see progress in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke in favor of holding talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the settlement of the situation in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of a G7 summit in France’s Bearritz.
According to Merkel, she wishes to see the negotiations between the new Ukrainian president Zelensky and the Russian president and progress made on the Minsk agreement. She also says that little progress has already been achieved under Zelensky’s presidency.
The German Chancellor also notes the need to move forward in the next few months to reach a settlement on the issue since this is a major challenge and there are enough problems in the world.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France and expressed support for Ukraine, encouraging it to continue reforms.

Still flogging the dead horse called Minsk, Merkel? There is no need for any negotiations, Minsk is laid out in easy to read steps. Try telling Putin to remove his ass from Ukraine, the war will be over in a few hours.
Nothing that the corpulent quisling stasi scumbucket says amounts to jack shit. She and mincing granny grabber Macron are not honest brokers; they just yearn for business as usual with putler; by any means necessary.
Bingo!
Minsk has been dead for 4 years, just like her immigration policies.
Ain’t that the truth. Off topic Scradje, did you watch the cricket yesterday?
That’s why you weren’t here yesterday! LMAO!
I don’t have access to Sky TV, I was busy doing other things. LMAO
I won’t ask. LMFAO!
I was in the garden weeding LMAO
I am now. :)))
You still need to get that Firestick :))
Tried to get one, seems it’s impossible to buy one here.
I thought you had a friend back home looking into it?
Look what I found in Rozetka.

Wow, nice, but twice the price. Welcome to Ukraine, lol. There is also a power cord that plugs in between the stick and a USB on your TV that can keep it charged. Or you can just plug it into an outlet. You will love it after you jail break it!
Can buy the 4K version for 2000 uah, which is a good bargain.
That’s what I use. Let me know if you need jailbreak recommendations. I pay about $100/year.
I found a website that shows how to jailbreak, but they also recommend using a vpn.
I guess I don’t understand the VPN part, the jailbreak is just an app and a subscription.
The VPN part is if you download the alternative app store with the Downloader app. I doubt I’ll use that, wouldn’t want to be downloading any strange apps.
Yep. Really you just need the Downloader, the streaming app and the scheduler. The other apps you can get directly on your FS, like news services, sports, etc. You can put this site on your browser service and comment from your sofa 🙂 One thing to remember though is to back out of your apps before you shut down because sometimes they keep running and use tons of bandwidth.
So you don’t use a vpn, just install the downloader, and away you go?
No I don’t. Just regular wifi. The service provider might, I’m not sure. Probably every service provider has made YouTube videos, it’s pretty easy.
The website with the jailbreak instructions refer to vpn if you are going to use Aptoide or Kodi, but I won’t be using those.
I am on a summer sojourn in Georgia at the moment, so unable to watch live. I presume you have Sky? TMS is not available outside the U K; however I have two things: Guerrilla Cricket, which is a bunch of blokes and one chick watching TV with a backdrop of Headingley (or wherever the location) and providing a quite amusing commentary. I also have an app which is helpful for a traveler like me. For a modest sub, FilmOn brings me the mainstream English TV channels (but not Sky).
So I was able to watch Channel 5’s excellent highlights, fronted by Mark Nicholas, with contributions from Boycott and Vaughan.
Ben Stokes has shown that you can win a test match by playing as if it was a one day match; even against a world class bowling attack. I fully expect that England’s match winners Stokes, Archer and Root will ensure that England will wrap up the series with two decisive victories back to back.
Which is a long winded way of saying that I loved it! I think Ben’s knock was one of the most exciting I have ever seen. Eight sixes! That is awesome!
I was a respectable club level quickie in my time: I opened the bowling but usually closed the batting! I only ever hit a handful of sixes; all off spin.
I love Archer’s bowling. What a great find!
I don’t have access to sky here unfortunately, or channel 5 highlights. I was following it on the BBC website. Once we went to 9 down with one wicket left, I give it up. I went doing some work for around 20 minutes, came back to the website expecting to see England all out. Couldn’t believe it when I saw we needed 18 to win. In the end the Aussies bottled it. I was fortunate enough to see the ECCB highlights on youtube. They are only 5 minutes long, but still awesome watching the carnage on the Aussie bowlers.
It was as if it was written by that great children’s author Frank Richards. Greyfriars would be in a hopeless position against Highcliffe, but then Wharton would produce a captain’s innings to save the day at the last gasp. Followed by a magnificent spread in one of the chap’s studies: probably that of Lord Mauleverer.
You can ‘friend’ Guerrilla Cricket on FB or get them free on any internet radio. FilmOn costs only 15 quid a month.
Hope you are enjoying your vacation. Did you ever visit Lake Lisi in Tbilisi? Well worth a visit, and a great place to relax.
I did go there about 10 years ago and then again more recently for a music festival. It is indeed delightful!
At one time I was interested in maybe buying a modest property in the Mtskheta area, but I am concerned about putler’s creeping annexation. We often refer to western indifference about Ukraine, but about Georgia it really seems that no one gives a flying fuck, which is an awful tragedy and grotesquely unfair.
Was in that area last year. Took a trip to Jvari Monastery. Great scenery from up there, especially where the two rivers converge.
Wonderful place!
Beautiful scenery everywhere, nice people, great food and wine, soulful music, dynamic dance culture. What’s not to like?! Just one thing: the filthy nazi neighbour that just won’t leave it alone.
I remember having lunch in the city there, and looking at the grapes hanging. I never saw bunches of grapes so big, they must have been at least 12-15″ long.
You are talking to broke bums here, including myself, Scradje. 😂
I wouldn’t want you to think I was even remotely rich. I made some poor business decisions in the past unfortunately and it’s still a struggle just to hold on to what’s left! Hence I am always looking at countries with cheaper lifestyles. I certainly couldn’t afford to be in Denmark like you!
Nor could i. I currently live in Flensborg, Germany. 😂
I’m surprised that a Cajun with Danish citizenship chooses Germany! However, that is a pretty town to dwell in. I imagine it is not one of stasi Merkel’s ‘refugee’ dump towns?
Merkel’s 1m came from terror countries such as Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, the Maghreb etc and pose a severe threat to women, girls and boys. But you should not bracket those with the the decent Muslims, such as the Krym Tatars and the Chechens who fight for Ukraine in the volunteer battalions; they are very great people.
In Britain are many Ahmadi Muslims. These are hard working, entirely peaceful and respectful to their host country. For that they are persecuted terribly by the dominant Sunni tribes.
I mention these things because you should not make the mistake of tarring them all with the same brush. I have a Chechen friend who not long ago joined the regular army of Ukraine. He tells me that many other Chechens with Ukrainian passports are joining up.
Ha,ha,ha! I have business here until late october 2020. Then me and Suzanna will return to Denmark. Denmark is relatively cheap compared to the rest of Scandinavia. When i get my pension we may move to Lithuania or Uruguay, not sure yet. 😀
My wife has a Uruguayan friend, she is beautiful. She wants us to go visit and says they have great beaches. I hope we might go one day. It is a socially advanced country with 88% of the population being white Spanish or Portuguese. If it can get rid of its crapulous leftist politics it will be a great place.
You may wonder why i did not mention Ukraine. It’s simple, corruption is still rampant, and i already have a pretty woman. 😇 But we will always spend our vacation in Odesa, if the working schedule allows it. 😉
Understandable. I had similar thoughts about Georgia.
When I was in Odessa during the tourist season a couple of years back, the place was rockin’. A real party town. I could live there; almost!
Yes. It’s awesome! If Ukraine will get her ass up, and the ruskie army pisses off, we may consider moving there. But that is fantasy for now. Suzanna is in favor of Uruguay, because she has some relatives there, and the weather is always nice.
