Genocide

Galyna Kogut

Russia has been performing Genocide of a Ukrainian people. Clearly, ruthlessly and meticulously, with rigor.
Now Russia is hitting and destroying electric power infrastructure in Ukraine again. People in Ukraine don’t have electricity for hours.
This time Russia does it in summer so that it is not as obvious and the world sees it as “less cruel”. They are killing but they are killing “gently, softly and with less pain”. But the truth is they want to destroy everything now, so that there is nothing in winter and Ukrainians just die of cold and hunger. That is Genocide!
They are “kind Russian murderers with great and rich literature, culture, ballet, Russian church”. They have their “great imperial Russian presence on this planet”.
What is a Genocide? It is the intentional destruction of a people in whole or in part.
Ukrainians are being killed only because they are Ukrainians. According to Russians, Ukrainians have no right for their national identity. If you indentify yourself as a Ukrainian you are a Nazi according to Russia. You don’t have a right to be Ukrainian because according to Russia there is no such nation as Ukrainians. Thus, in their sick Russian mind it gives them the right to kill. It has nothing to do with America and NATO. It’s a typical geopolitical bullying.
Russia kidnaps Ukrainian children and puts them through purification camps where they are forced to sing only Russian songs, speak only Russian language and repent that they used to identify themselves as Ukrainians. They need to become “pure” which means Russian. It is difficult to believe in such things happening but that’s what’s happening. It is sickening, unfathomable.
It is difficult to estimate how much harm Russians have caused to the people of Ukraine. They target civilians, in the night in their homes. They kill armless, children and elderly. It will take years for people of Ukraine to heal mentally and emotionally. Even longer than after 70 years of Russian occupation of Ukraine in the so called USSR.
Genocide is the “crime of crimes”.
Despite the whole world watching Russia doing all this to Ukrainians, the TerroRussia is still well represented in many world platforms. Their businesses and people are shamelessly learning how to beat around sanctions, position themselves as victims, etc.
All that happening while Ukraine is literally bleeding and slowly shrinking and disappearing. All in the 21st century. All at the age of technical and many other progresses.
By saying all this I do not intend to underestimate any other problems anywhere else in the world. I am saying this because I am in touch with family and friends in the war-torn and bleeding Ukraine. It is painful to even imagine what is happening there. How much grief the wannabe Russian empire is causing to the innocent.
There is no moral of this text, there is no requests made. There is only one intention – to remind that indifference kills a human in a human body.

ANOTHER GENOCIDE:

YANA RUDENKO

Another Genocide for Which No One Has Been Punished

💔 This is happening again with Crimea, with Ukraine … and we know that there is no Peace without Justice.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people, when, over the course of three days, at least 191,044 people were 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 to Siberia and Central Asia by 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐰 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞.

‼️ The 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 and 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 against the Crimean Tatar people, which occurred on May 18, 1944, was a coordinated and large-scale action by the soviet totalitarian regime.

People were taken from their homes, not even allowed to gather essential belongings, as they had no more than 15 minutes to prepare. Mostly, these were women, children, and the elderly, as many men were still on the front lines.

It is happening again…

Ukraine will win,
Your support defines when.

Comment from :

Yana Rudenko

During this operation, thousands of Crimean Tatars were sentenced to death or deported to Central Asia and Siberia. By 8 a.m. on the first day, about 48,400 people had been taken to Uzbekistan, and the next day, more Crimean Tatars were deported in trains.

Marijn Markus:

Russia condemns Stalin’s deportations while also admiring and glorifying the man.

And Putin continues his work to this day.

John Lawson

How can anyone in Russia be proud of their past and especially of Stalin Hitler’s ally in the carve up of Poland and the genocidal Katyn massacres.

The Germans rightly consigned Hitler to the dustbin of History, and after all Stalin murdered very many more, how can the Russians venerate a Psychopath like Stalin?

Constantine Shavshishvili

John Lawson because they are themselves a psychopath nation!

Recruiting Latin American workers to the EU/CANADA

Mikhail Khodorkovsky: “Lviv will be preserved if Polish troops, as part of NATO, enter the city” (?) The West is losing the war; Kharkiv will fall within the year, and Odesa – next year(?) Current efforts are insufficient to prevent the fall of key Ukrainian regions to Putin in the next 2 years.
Putin spends about $120bn a year on the war – 5.4% of Russia’s $2.2 trillion GDP – with the most commonly used Russian shell costing about $500
European aid to Kyiv over two years amounts to $88bn – about 0.25% of the EU’s GDP – with shells that cost between $5,000 and $8,000
This means that, if we include the American contribution, Putin is outproducing the West by at least 2.5:1. This year, without US support, that ratio jumps to 4:1
At the start of the war, Russia’s population was 142 million to Ukraine’s 40 million – a ratio of about 3.5:1. Now, two years later, that ratio is 7:1. And yet, we demand that Ukraine continue to fight on – but with what?
At the current rate, Kharkiv will fall within the year, and Odesa – next year. By 2026, Ukraine will be capable only of maintaining a small-scale partisan resistance – and that is in the best case scenario
Lviv will be preserved if Polish troops, as part of NATO, enter the city. This is a more optimistic scenario, provided that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their heroic resistance despite all the challenges.
What is the thought process at play? ‘Perhaps if Putin takes Ukraine, he will calm down’? Perhaps he will – although as I have said before, that is highly unlikely
More likely, when the war is over, Russian soldiers will be at Poland’s border. And they’ll be joined by some Ukrainians, resentful of the Western betrayal and, in need of some way to earn a living, forced to join a united Russian-Ukrainian army under Russian command.
We saw a similar dynamic happen in Donbas.
I’m sure nobody who has thought about this, really wants to see such an outcome. But as it stands, this is the most likely one. The only way to prevent it is for Western countries to step up their efforts to aid Ukraine and hinder Putin
Without the support of its allies, Ukraine cannot be expected to fight off the invasion forever. Putin certainly has the support of his own allies. Xi Jinping has said that there are no limits to Sino-Russian co-operation. What can this tell us?
It tells us that when democracies are not willing to unite and act decisively, then dictators feel empowered to act as they please without fear of consequences
It’s important to keep in mind that Putin does not need territory. Putin needs a war for his domestic goals. And a weak West makes a wonderful target for him

  1. Anyone who is concerned for the survival of Ukraine is urged to watch the 5 minute video of Mr Khodorkovsky at the end.
It is riveting, hard core, bleak and an illustration of the “logic” behind the indescribably malignant putler dictatorship and its axis of evil.

  2. DT today :

“Tyson Fury claims judges sided with Oleksandr Usyk because of war in Ukraine.”

Fury’s response to his defeat is a disgrace. He comes from a large criminal family of Irish descent. Many of his “community” are putler fans.

    • Another boxing-related story from the DT:

The now 92 year old promoter Don King, who in his younger days kicked a man to death, comes out as a trumper:

Don King interview: ‘Trump never surrenders – I love the man and hope he wins’
