According to him, 77-year-old Zyuganov “was hospitalized for a few days for prophylaxis.”

Zyuganov, by virtue of his position, is in contact with many people, recently he had signs of a cold, and in order to eliminate any risks, on the advice of doctors, he was placed in the hospital for several days.

The head of the press service of the Communist Party added that, most likely, Zyuganov would be discharged in a few days.

The LDPR leader, 75-year-old Vladimir Zhirinovsky, is in the Central Clinical Hospital. He is hospitalized with covid. Officially, the LDPR states that Zhirinovsky will soon return to full-fledged, active work. According to unofficial data , the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party has a significant degree of lung damage. The press service of the Ministry of Health only stated that Zhirinovsky’s condition is stable, “doctors continue to provide all possible medical assistance in this situation.”

The head of the New People faction in the State Duma, 55-year-old Alexei Nechaev, also contracted the coronavirus. As Nechaev reported on February 10, he is being treated at home, feels “well in principle”, but is forced to refuse to participate in the planned events.
