President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Colonel General Oleksandr Syrsky from his position as Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
The decision comes after days of public protests calling for reforms in military leadership.
This was stated on Kyiv Post Telegram channel.

This is an unfortunate defeat for General Syrsky, but a victory for democracy. Perhaps also a victory for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What’s going to happen to Fedorov now?
That’s a good question.
He should be reinstated immediately. You can’t toss guys like this aside and hope to win..
The only issue standing in the way could be President Zelensky. I don’t know how he operates but wonder how good is he at saying I screwed up and need to fix it. I think he did when he screwed up with NABU so I guess we will see
I fully agree. And I can’t image Zelensky having a better candidate.
I haven’t finished reading everything yet but it looks like Zelensky made a new position for Federov, involving technology and modernization as the Deputy Speaker I believe.
