The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of a plant for the production of attack UAVs, in particular “Shaheds”, in the Yelabuga district of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF). The fire destruction of the enterprise, located more than 1,000 km from the state border of Ukraine, was carried out by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.
This was reported on the General Staff’s Facebook page. Hits and explosions in the area of the target were confirmed, and damage to the final assembly shop of enemy UAVs was reported.
The results of the plant damage are still being determined.

“This strike is Ukraine’s just response to a Russian strategic military facility that is being used to support the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine and terror against civilians in Ukraine. We thank our soldiers for their accuracy,” the message said.
The General Staff clarified that the affected plant is located 1,054 km from the Ukrainian border. There, the Russians manufacture Geran-2 strike UAVs, the Shahed type, and others. The production capacity of the enterprise is about 300 different drones per day.

As OBOZ.UA reported, during the day of April 23, a group of suicide drones attacked the city of Yelabuga , located in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan. The target of the strike UAVs was an enterprise where the Russians produce analogues of the Iranian Shahed suicide drones called “Geran”.
Our drones could drop 250 kg of ammunition on the factory, and then deliver a direct drone strike. According to preliminary data, 5 out of 6 drones hit the target exactly.

Destroying these civilian killers at source is the best option. We’ll soon know how much damage has been done if the drone attacks are significantly reduced. Ukraine just played another card, Trump.
I hope the entire plant was flattened, including the workforce.
I don’t know about this drone factory, but the missile storage site is utterly devastated from recent satllite images published.
I hope the same thing for the drone factory.
Good job, AFU! First, a huge ammo depot and now the factory for the murderous Shaheds.
