Gazprom has announced that it plans to build a new skyscraper in St. Petersburg – Lakhta Center 2. The architectural concept was presented at the interdepartmental council for the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the company and the city.
According to the project, the building will be 703 meters high. As the company notes, it will become the second tallest in the world.
Now in the north of St. Petersburg, the commissioning of the first tower “Lakhta Center” is nearing completion, to which the headquarters of “Gazprom” will soon move. The height of this building is 462 meters.
The tallest building in the world is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Its height is 828 meters.
