Gauleiter Izyuma and his retinue fled the city before the start of its liberation – ex-deputy of the City Council

Collaborators are now on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The self-proclaimed mayor of Izyum and his honor left the city before the UAF began to take it.

This was told by a fighter of the National Guard of Ukraine – a former deputy of the Izyum city council Nikita Karakay during an informational telethon .

“I have such information that the self-proclaimed mayor of the city Izyum Sokolov and his retinue managed to evacuate even before the start of the capture of the city by our troops,” he said.

According to the data, the collaborators are located on the territory of the Russian Federation. Russians and collaborators quickly left the city, abandoned a huge amount of equipment and ammunition.

There have been no official statements from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the release of Izyum yet.
