The Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated the village of Zarichne in Donetsk region from Russian occupiers. Our defenders are in full control of the settlement.
This was reported by the General Staff on Monday, September 8. The Armed Forces continue to return every meter of their native land.
What is known
Ukrainian servicemen installed a blue-and-yellow flag on one of the dilapidated buildings in the village.
“The forces of the 425th separate assault regiment “Skelya” have completely taken control of the village of Zarichne in the Donetsk region,” the report says.
The day before, on September 1, it became known that Ukrainian military forces had liberated the village of Novoekonomichne in Donetsk region. The Ukrainian flag was raised over the settlement on August 31.
As a reminder, on August 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of the village of Novomykhailivka (Donetsk region). Our military is gradually returning the occupied territories.
As OBOZ.UA wrote, on August 24 it also became known that Ukrainian soldiers conducted successful counteroffensive actions in the Donetsk region. They liberated three more villages that the enemy had previously managed to capture. The villages of Mykhailivka, Zelenyy Hai and Volodymyrivka returned to Ukrainian control.
Like we say over the cockroaches all the time, this is only a village. But, this village is different, it gives us a vital sign. It’s one of numerous villages liberated in the recent past. We remember that this is in the midst of the mafia summer offensive. The roaches are weakening, more or less, and perhaps are having difficulties with their logistics. I’ve heard reports about cannibalism amongst the orcs due to the lack of food. Maybe it’s due to the lack of fuel? We’ll see.
