Ukrainian intelligence has received new data indicating a deepening fuel, logistical, and management crisis on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula. The occupation administration’s problems are the result of systematic attacks on Russian military logistics and the oil refining industry.
This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. He said that he received a report from the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Luhovsky.
Intelligence received internal documents of the occupation authorities
According to the head of state, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has obtained materials that demonstrate the real state of affairs in the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, the documents indicate the daily deterioration of the situation with fuel supply, military logistics, and the management system in the occupied Crimea.
“The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has obtained materials that indicate the virtually daily deepening of the crisis with fuel, military logistics, and governance in Crimea,” Zelensky noted.
The occupation administration recognizes the existence of serious problems
The President reported that in internal documents, the Russian occupation authorities actually admit their inability to quickly overcome the difficulties that arose after Ukrainian strikes on Russian military infrastructure and oil refineries.
According to him, this situation was caused by both strikes on logistics and long-range attacks on Russian oil refineries.
“The Russian occupation administration quite clearly and unequivocally recognizes the impossibility of solving the problems created by our medium-range sanctions against the occupier, as well as the implementation of the long-range sanctions plan, primarily regarding Russian oil refining,” the president said.
He also noted that similar processes are taking place not only in occupied Crimea, but also in other regions of the Russian Federation.
Population anxiety is growing in Russia
In addition to information about the situation in occupied Crimea, Ukrainian intelligence received internal Russian documentation regarding public sentiment in the aggressor state.
According to Zelensky, the results indicate a significant deterioration in the socio-economic expectations of Russians.
In particular, the level of anxiety of the Russian population currently exceeds the indicators recorded during the Kursk operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“Currently, the level of anxiety among Russians is already higher than during our Kursk operation, namely more than 50%,” the head of state noted.
Most Russians expect economic crisis
The president also cited data from internal Russian sociological assessments, which, he said, indicate a deterioration in the financial situation of the Russian population.
Thus, 66% of Russian citizens already assess their financial situation as difficult.
In addition, over 80% of those surveyed believe a large-scale economic crisis in Russia is inevitable.
According to Zelensky, such indicators indicate the consequences of the Kremlin’s policies and growing domestic discontent.
“Absolutely transparent indicators that reflect the failure of Putin’s military policy,” the President of Ukraine concluded.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian intelligence also provided evidence that Russia is indeed preparing a new invasion from the territory of Belarus. According to him, military infrastructure is already being built in Belarus for Russia’s needs.
