We are not afraid of the enemy’s brutality;
we fear our friends turning into traitors.

U.S. Secretary of State Rubio stated that 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐔𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚, and it needs to be brought to an end.

I wish it were that easy, but 🇺🇸 Americans need to learn #history better and don’t think that the world spins around them.

😵‍💫 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 toward Ukraine go back much further than NATO’s establishment or even the founding of the United States.

Was it because of the USA that 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐰 brutally destroyed the Ukrainian city of Baturyn, the residence of the Ukrainian hetman, in 1708, 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 all 14,000 of its citizens?

Was it because of the USA that 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐰 banned the Ukrainian language over 200 times in the last 200 years?

Was it because of the USA that 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐰 orchestrated the Holodomor (1932–1933), starving 5 million Ukrainians to 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, including members of my own family?

Was it because of the USA that during 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐰’𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 of 1937–1938, over 260,000 Ukrainians became its 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 and 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 or 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚?

“So we go for WW3 because of Ukraine?” – a question asked. Let me reply.
WW3 has started, like you or not. Ukraine is fighting against Russian army with Iranian and North Korean weapons, with North Korean troops, and some quiet Chinese supplies. Ukraine is supported by Europe and was supported by US. There are over million casualties, 300k dead. In WW2, USA lost 0.3% of the population killed. Now Ukraine and Russia both has lost about that percentage (but Russia is 3 times bigger itself, so they may afford meat assaults and lose more). So it is WW3. The old world order is gone, new one is not born yet. It will be born on the battlefield.

Surely, you may just stay away, you have a nice big ocean. No one will invade you and you are safe. But if you do so, you are no longer a world power. Yes, everyone knows you are rich and have the biggest military budget, the most advanced technologies, but what’s the point if you are afraid to use it even against Russia, a technologically backwards country with GDP smaller than one of Texas? It means that they can win you by bluff alone, by saying magical world, “nukes”.

I wonder what Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan think as they see Ukraine is being turned back to. Will they believe you’ll fight for them if China or North Korea attack? Can they be sure that next president (or even this one) won’t say “Nah, he need money here!” I do not think so.

Remember what he said about Baltics when asked if US will defend them? “they are in a very difficult region”. Which means “No”. And those are small countries, unlike Ukraine, it will be much harder for them. So EU has to think how to defend itself without US.

You are losing credibility. And Uncle Sam is resigning from the role of world policeman, new candidates will apply to it. This place won’t be vacant. France and Germany may remember their glorious past. Poland may rise up. Ukraine will become the military wing of EU. Maybe Turkey is thinking about new Ottoman Empire. China will get closer to EU. Ukraine/Japan/South Korea/Taiwan will make their nukes. Many possible options, but you’ll be out of the equation if you choose to withdraw. And with the new sheriff in the town, you won’t be listened to so attentively.

USA became world power because it went to WW1 and WW2 and got the prize as the winner. If it withdraws from WW3, it will lose great part of its geopolitical influence. It will be painful for Ukraine and hard for EU, but when we overcome the difficulties, who will be the loser?

After the introduction of the tariffs, the stock market lost over 3 trillion, which is 20 times more than what was given to Ukraine in 3 years. Lost in a week. So something tells me that it’s not about money alone…

By the way, do you know how much the average American was paying? 15 USD monthly. Of which, 12 USD did not even leave US as it was paid to American weapons manufacturers, so only 3 USD per person was going to Ukraine. Think how cheaply you are selling your reputation
