I feel that, with each month of this war, I am getting tougher and tougher. Today, I am much more fit for war than I was on the 25th of February when I joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces to protect my country from brutal russian invasion.
But you know what? It does not make me happy at all. Over this half a year, I have got used to live without my family, my friends and my city. It scares me because these are my true life values. And this is probably my hardest dilemma now. In order to protect my dearest values from russian annihilation, I have to abandon the same values.
I’m not complaining (heh, I am too tough for that!). This is just my reflective mood on a rainy day far from home. Of course, we will keep fighting until we win. Of course, we will surely win. And yes, the day will come when all the Ukrainian warriors will get back to their coveted homes where our beloved ones are missing us so much.

Comment from LinkedIn’s Shaun Topham:
“You are fighting for all of us in Europe and beyond Roman and one day, you will return to help Ukraine rebuild. There will be a new era of Ukrainian business that will need your legal acumen.
You will look at a ruined russian economy and fragmented russian society and know that you played a part in a victory that changed the course of world history.
Як колишній військовий, який занадто старий, щоб прийти воювати, я вас надзвичайно поважаю та ціную”

Heroyam Slava!!! Stay safe, stay strong, may you be victorious, and get back to your loved ones soon.
