Russia and North Korea are inching towards cooperating in Putin’s invasion of Ukraine in the form of North Korea providing labourers for restoration projects in the illegally Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine. 蛇鼠一窩 (vermin are together), Russia, North Korea and China and their proxies like Assad of Syria, are posing a serious threat to the global security. The defeat of Russia by Ukraine with the support of the West is the only way to break the axis of authoritarian regimes to restore rights and the rule of law.
North Korea is only the third country after Russia and Syria to recognise the 2 Russian-proxy regions of Luhansk and Donetsk, illegally annexed by Russia.
US State Department spokesperson Ned Price last month criticised Russian suggestions that North Korean workers could be employed for restoration projects in Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine, saying that such arrangements would be “an affront to the sovereignty of Ukraine”.
