Give them a lot more help, you cheap bastards!
Let’s name just some of the fantastically wealthy European countries that when it comes to Ukraine are as mean as dirt: all the Scandies, Germany, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Ireland, Austria.
Poetic justice would be if all of those shitty countries were to suffer from mafia land aggression and NATO would just collapse, leaving them to fend for themselves. I would not care a single bit!
LOL, you sound exactly like Trump Sir Scradge, he’s been saying the same thing lately.
Give money to British-Ukrainian Aid. I personally endorse it and am a patron.
Also: from the LinkedIn page of Tetiana Poudel, are some good ideas:
“Today, I was driving through my hometown Lutsk in Ukraine and saw a lot of kids with posters asking to donate to the Ukrainian army.
I wanted to give them money but they told me to just donate wherever I saw fit and raise awareness among other people.
So that’s what I’m doing here — spreading the message of these little Ukrainian kids.
I’m fortunate to have a job in one of the biggest tech companies, a LinkedIn profile, to speak English, and to have a powerful network comprising of some of the most successful people in the world.
Just like me, these kids deserve to grow up in a peaceful country, to study in a school and not in a bunker, to have both their parents alive, a successful career one day…
Please consider contributing to the Ukrainian army — the war is still going on and the Ukrainian army is the only force that protects the world from the most evil terrorist country. There are a lot of resources to do so and even one dollar you spend today will literally save human lives, the world order and environment.
I’m happy to also recommend a few:
The first one I would recommend is https://u24.gov.ua/ that is run by the Ukrainian government.
Other two that are NGOs with amazing g impact and outreach: https://lnkd.in/dwg7G7Kr and https://lnkd.in/dfyGVDTP
Alternatively, feel free to support my dad who serves in the Ukrainian army directly via PayPal: danyluk1966@gmail.com
Thank you and glory to Ukraine.”
Thanks for the info, Sir Scradge.
I will soon be in Kyiv and I will donate directly when I’m there.
Let me know when you go Frank. I know a couple of girls who have been running an informal, private charity since 2014 that does essential work. They send comfort Items to the lads (and girls of course) on the front line. They send cigarettes (soldiers get through shitloads of them), sweets, high energy choc bars, toiletries, socks, underwear, gloves, MRE’s etc.
Thanks again. I can tell you for now that it will be in the first part of September. I’m awaiting the arrival of my Oksana and after a week or two here, we will head to Ukraine together. I will tell you again shortly before our departure.
How are you getting in? The only way in I know of is a train/bus from Warsaw.
We will fly to either Warsaw or Krakow and then, from there, go by train to Kyiv.
The usual route is Warsaw to Przemyśl, where you need to change trains because of the Soviet gauge rail lines.
Yes, that’s right. Another alternative we’re looking into is a bus ride straight to Kyiv. We’ll see…
The train is the better option in my opinion. The Lviv train usually has food a bar and Internet.
