Tender details

The manufacturer received the largest number of lots among all participants. In total, almost 100 applicants participated in the selection, from which five companies were selected, including enterprises from the USA, Great Britain and Germany.

The six winning lots cover territorial and border protection systems in three categories:

  • stationary;
  • transportable;
  • able to work while moving.

Alta Ares products for the physical destruction of drones have been added to the Alliance’s catalog, allowing Allied countries to purchase or lease them without conducting new procurement procedures.

In addition, the structure will finance the purchase of equipment for demonstrations and testing.

Features of developments

The company develops artificial intelligence (AI)-based air defense (AAD) systems that combine software, sensors, controls, and interceptors to detect and destroy aerial targets, including Shahed strike drones and homing munitions.

The platform’s algorithms use combat experience gained during the war in Ukraine and operations in the Persian Gulf region.

“A drone countermeasure system must provide a full cycle of work – from threat detection to interception. This is the principle we have based the company’s work on. Our software takes into account data obtained during hostilities in Ukraine. We are making efforts to ensure that allied countries have access to new generation air defense systems at an affordable price and on the scale they need,” said CEO and co-founder of Alta Ares Adrian Kanter.

Production and procurement

To fulfill the contract, Alta Ares is expanding production capacity with partners. In case of large orders, the company plans to localize production in the customer countries and expand European supply chains.

The contract is part of the Drone Edge Marketplace platform within the Rapid Technology Adoption Action Plan, which aims to reduce procurement times through a single catalog of selected systems. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/n4032232
