France has found no confirmation of the alleged Ukrainian drone attack on the residence of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Valdai on December 29 .

This is reported by Le Monde, citing sources close to French President Emmanuel Macron,  Censor.NET reports .

France’s reaction

“There is no solid evidence to support the serious accusations of the Russian authorities, even after checking the information with our partners ,” a source close to Macron told the publication.

At the same time, Le Monde’s interlocutor emphasized that the continuation and intensification of Russian strikes on Ukraine is “an act of defiance of President [US] Donald] Trump’s peace program.”

Kremlin lies

In addition, the publication noted that during a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on December 30, which was attended by AFP representatives, he also did not provide evidence of an attack on the Russian dictator’s residence.

Peskov stated that “all drones were shot down” and that the Russian Defense Ministry should be contacted regarding the presence of possible debris.
