The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not top attacking strategically important objects on enemy territory. In particular, details of the strike that occurred on September 23, 2025 on the Su-34/35/57 production contractor in Belgorod recently became known.
The enemy claims that out of 4 missiles, “only one reached the plant” , but satellite images indicate otherwise: probably 4/4 “Flamingos” reached the target area, and the deviation radius was <80 m . The largest area of destruction (25 m) does not correspond to the version of “one hit” – it looks like an attempt to minimize the consequences. This is reported by the Telegram channel Exilenova+. The information has not yet been officially confirmed, but OSINT investigators already have satellite images before and after the attack .
It is emphasized that the hit was on LLC SKIF-M, and not on the Belgorod Milling Plant. It is noted that LLC SKIF-M is a high-tech manufacturer of special tools for processing titanium, aluminum and composites (CFRP-titanium), critical for Russia’s aircraft industry, and up to 70% of their products are intended for aerospace materials – the chain – MiG and Su (Su-34/35/57).
“Despite the war, the company continued to import over $7.6 million/year, in particular from Germany, and imported high-precision machine tools/centers (Stahli FH2-505, Hermle C40U). The damage occurred in the main production area, and given the nature of the damage, restoration, if possible, will be long and difficult,” the investigators specify .
Explanation for those who equate “Iskander” and “Flamingo”.
The high-explosive Iskander is more powerful than a 1-ton cruise missile. Despite the smaller warhead mass, it enters the target at hypersonic speed, adding a powerful kinetic effect.
Investigators emphasize that a 1-ton cruise missile has a softer, more planar effect and is inferior in peak impact force. Instead, they explain, the Flamingo has a penetrating warhead, and its task is not to break through tens or hundreds of meters of concrete, but in a different type of damage.

As a reminder, on the night of January 22, the Ukrainian army struck the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, which was involved in supplying enemy troops. Military infrastructure was also attacked in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Kherson regions and in Crimea.
Earlier, Saratov, Russia, also complained about a nighttime drone attack. Residents of the city said they heard ” more than 10 powerful explosions ,” and a local refinery was hit.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that a “parade of blackouts” had begun in the regions of Russia and in the territories it occupied . As of Saturday evening, January 17, the light had disappeared in the homes of Russians in Yeysk (Krasnodar Krai), Krasnozavodsk and Serpukhov (Moscow Oblast), as well as in the occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhia.
