Four oil depots are burning in russia

Everything shot down? The Kremlin forgot to tell Russians about the UAV attacks

01/18/2025

Four oil depots are on fire in Russia as a result of a drone attack. In turn,
Kremlin officials hid information about the explosions from the Russians and said that all targets were shot down by air defense.

This was reported by the former advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryuschenko, on Telegram. In particular, nothing was said about the attack in the Smolensk region.

As Andryuschenko notes, as of now, “after being hit by our UAVs,” a fire is raging at oil depots in Engels, Saratov Region, Lyska, Voronezh Region, Uzlov, Tula Region, and in the city of Lyudinovo, Kaluga Region.

In turn, the official Kremlin in its morning report obscured everything and remained silent about the attack in the Smolensk region.

“18 UAVs over the territory of Bryansk region, 11 UAVs over the territory of Kursk region, 7 UAVs over the territory of Kaluga region, 5 UAVs over the territory of Tula region, 3 UAVs over the territory of Belgorod region and 2 UAVs over the territory of Voronezh region,” the report simply says.

As a reminder, yesterday, in the evening of January 17, drones attacked an oil depot in the city of Lyudinovo, Kaluga Region, Russia. After the hits, a severe fire broke out at the facility. This is not the first attack in this area; last year, in April and May, drones attacked the Kaluganefteprodukt oil depot there.

As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of January 16, 2025, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Liskinska oil depot in the Voronezh region. Locals reported a series of explosions and a bright glow that was visible from afar.

  1. “Kremlin officials hid information about the explosions from the Russians and said that all targets were shot down by air defense.”

Typical russkies. If we say nothing it didn’t happen.
