According to the head of state, it was precisely this vision of his future work for Ukraine that Danilov himself told him about.

President Vladimir Zelensky agreed on the candidacy of ex-Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov for the post of the new Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova. The head of state announced this in his evening video message .

“Alexei Danilov will continue to work in the diplomatic direction, and more specifically, I agreed on his candidacy as the new ambassador of our state to the Republic of Moldova. He told me exactly this vision of his future work for Ukraine,” he said.

  1. What?????????????????????????????????????????????????? The lowest of the lowest job for him? Why not streetcleaner?

    • Wait a moment, Veth, this ain’t an ambassadorship in Peru or somewhere irrelevant. Moldava is under pressure by a lot of Russian propaganda and interference, and the Transnistria mafia enclave is a thorn in the AFU’s southwestern flank. For the Ukrainian government, it’s very important that the ambassador there is an intelligence service pro. There’s most probably no better expert available for that job than Danilov. He’ll do great work there. 🤨
