Former Russian president admits Istanbul talks not aimed at peace but at Russia’s “complete victory”

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council and former president of the Russian Federation, has declared that the true purpose of the so-called peace talks with Ukraine in Istanbul is to ensure Russia’s swift and complete victory.

Details: Medvedev stated that the Istanbul negotiations are not intended to bring about a “compromise peace” based on what he called “imaginary, unrealistic conditions”.

Instead, he said they are needed to secure Russia’s “fastest possible victory”.

“This is the purpose of the Russian memorandum published yesterday,” he added.

  1. There we have it, straight from the horse’s mouth. mafia land are not interested in any peace negotiations. Will the US do the right thing, or will they keep giving putler off-ramps which he ignores?

    • The defenders knew about this waste of time in advance of course.
They were merely paying lip-service to the world’s number one putler-rimmer.
Will Krasnov react with fury at putler and unleash the Graham sanctions, or will he react furiously with Zel for having the temerity to hurt his bum-chum?
Krasnov Jr announced the end of U.S. support with his vile, sneering “welfare queen” comments during the election. He hates Ukraine even more than Krasnov Sr, so it would hardly be a surprise if Krasnov Sr walks away.
The only question then remaining is whether Krasnov’s pet putinaZi troll Gabbardova will start passing US intel on Ukraine onto the putler murder gang?

    • Yeah, I think 11 years of off-ramps is plenty enough……
Stalin used to say, “push until you meet steel.” And we have gotten 11 years of pushing and not much steel outside of Ukraine.
