The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that they demand the arrest of persons involved in terrorist activities.

Moscow demands that Kiev arrest the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk .

According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukraine is allegedly to blame for terrorist activities on Russian territory. In particular, the Russians insist that they have found a “Ukrainian trace” in the terrorist attack at Crocus, the murder of propagandists Daria Dugina, Vladlen Tatarsky, the bombing of the Crimean Bridge and other crimes.

“In this regard, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted to the Ukrainian authorities demands within the framework of the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings and the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism for the immediate arrest of all persons involved in these terrorist attacks. Among these demands is the arrest of the head of the SBU V. Malyuk, who cynically admitted on March 25 that Ukraine organized the bombing of the Crimean Bridge in October 2022 and revealed details of the organization of other terrorist attacks in the Russian Federation,” the statement said.

The diplomatic department of the occupying country cynically stated that the fight against international terrorism is the responsibility of every state.

“The Russian side demands that the Kyiv regime immediately stop any support for terrorist activities, hand over the perpetrators and compensate for the damage caused to the victims. Violation of Ukraine’s obligations under anti-terrorism conventions will entail its international legal responsibility,” the Russian Foreign Ministry added.

“Arrest” of Malyuk in the Russian Federation

On March 25, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk commented on the latest attacks on oil refineries in Russia.

In an interview with ICTV, he noted that a number of successful, relevant implementations took place on enemy territory, because it is through the export of petroleum products that Russia replenishes its budget: this is actually a third of their budget and the lion’s share of the military budget.

  1. The two above mentioned conventions are UN Treaties that only recognised Sovereign States can sign. So russia, by this claim, is recognising Ukrainian Sovereignty! 😉

  2. Uh, what? Now they’ve become totally nuts! Ok, I know this is straight out of the radical rightwing spinmaster playbook – accuse the enemy of the crimes you commit yourself (see “swiftboating” of John Kerry by the Dubya Bush posse). But still, the brazenness…
    😠

  3. Ironic given that Putinist Russia is a terror state, intentionally targeting civilians and doing his best to make Ukraine unlivable.
