The first place in the ranking of the richest Ukrainians was taken by Rinat Akhmetov ($ 7.6 billion), the second – Victor Pinchuk (2.5 billion), the third – Konstantin Zhevago (2.4 billion).
In February, the Ukrainian authorities imposed sanctions against Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko for a period of three years. Restrictions, in particular, imply the seizure of their assets.
The Ukrainian authorities also imposed sanctions against the deputy of the Rada Taras Kozak and turned off his TV channels 112 Ukraine, NewsOne and ZIK. The media reported that Kozak was involved in a joint business with Medvedchuk.
