
For the first time in history, the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, became one of the top 100 best cities in the world. This is evidenced by data on the site bestcities.org .

If last year Kyiv was in 139th place, then it has risen significantly and occupies the 87th position.
During the year, Kyiv climbed 52 steps, ahead of Hanover, Minsk, Bucharest, Dusseldorf, Manchester and Glasgow. Experts believe that the capital of Ukraine has prospects to rise higher next year.
“Architecturally gifted, friendly and creative, Kyiv is a quiet European capital on the rise,” the text reads.

The best cities are London, New York and Paris.

Kyiv is a very underrated city. I usually do not like large cities at all but Kyiv stands as a lonely exception.
I wonder what they did to improve so much?
Minsk I can see, there is riots and oppression. but the others?
