For every killed, 6-8 wounded: Zelensky spoke about losses in the Ukrainian army

According to him, he sees changes every day that are not positive.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said he knows how many people the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose every day.

“For me, this is a very painful issue and a very important one. Unfortunately, I see these changes every day and they are not for the better. They are not getting any smaller. And I cannot tell you this information now because this is the moment. We do not want the Russians to know all the information,” he said in an interview with the BBC.

The head of state was also asked how long Kyiv could continue to bear such losses. Zelensky noted that, when talking about this war, we need to look at the people and minimize losses as much as possible.

“By the way, that is why the difference between the killed and wounded between us and the Russians is so big. If we have one killed for 6-8 wounded, then they have every second or third. That is, this shows that they are not fighting for the survival of their people, they are leaving them on the battlefield. And that is why I cannot compare this process with “how much more can we do?”,” the Ukrainian leader explained.

According to him, it all depends primarily on a number of factors:

morale of the military;
the morale of the people who work so that the military can get their salaries;
unity between the military and civilians in Ukraine;
unity of the West.

“This is such a large union and we can fight until victory, but only if all these elements work. And that is why we need to look at this, these are the main factors,” Zelensky concluded.
