The Finnish Prosecutor’s Office has accused the former commander of the Russian neo-Nazi group “Rusich” Yan Petrovsky of committing war crimes on the territory of Ukraine.

According to the Yle publication , this is the first such case in the country’s judicial practice. Deputy Prosecutor General Jukka Rappe brought charges against Vojislav Torden (aka Petrovsky) for five war crimes committed in the autumn of 2014 in Donbas.
According to the prosecution, Petrovsky took part in actions that contradicted the rules and customs of war. The occupier and soldiers of his unit killed 22 Ukrainian servicemen and seriously wounded four more. He is also accused of violating the rules of war (treatment of wounded and killed enemy soldiers).
