First Ever Video Of AFU Beehive Strike Against Invaders Near Bakhmut

The enemy positions were covered with 155-mm DPICM ammunition made in the USA

The first ever video of the combat use by Ukrainian soldiers of the US-made 155 mm DPICM beehive against Russian occupiers near Bakhmut has been published. The video was filmed by the Madyar aerial reconnaissance unit on December 16.

Yuri Butusov, editor-in-chief of Censor.NET, announced this on the Butusov Plus Telegram channel.

According to him, the DPICM projectile (dual-purpose improved conventional ammunition) works as follows: the fuse is set in time for an air blast over the target, and a circle within a radius of 150 meters is covered with 88 submunitions, each of which fires hundreds of ready-made striking wires.

“Beehive shells are especially effective against targets in open areas, in this case the Ukrainians precisely corrected the blast exactly above the trench with Russian infantrymen. Russia is actively using beehive shells to shell Ukrainian cities in order to hit as much as possible not only the military, but also the civilian population,” explains Butusov.

  1. It’s nice to see the cockroaches being served their own medicine. I hope that many have been “inoculated”.

  2. Sounds like what the US calls a cluster munition. The Beehive round was fire by field artillery and spewed of “flechettes” upon detonation. That was first used in Vietnam.

The Orcs used cluster munitions first. They get what they have coming.

Most definitely Sir Oh, I’ve heard many requests by the AFU to have these to be able to reciprocate. What the rashists have done and are doing is coming back to haunt them. Recently saw the footage from the AFU demobilizing a rashist nest. Had thought from it’s dispersal it may have been cluster, but I wasn’t certain. Thanks for the confirmation. In two of the shots I saw the pattern was almost like a perfect circle, amazing capability, I’m glad AFU got their hands on some.
