Emergency responders are working to eliminate the consequences of a Russian attack at three locations in Kyiv region’s Bucha district.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said this on Facebook.

“Rescuers are working simultaneously at three locations where fires broke out. Additional SES personnel and equipment have been deployed,” the statement said.

According to the State Emergency Service, efforts to deal with the aftermath are being complicated by repeated enemy attacks.

“Every air raid alert means having to leave the dangerous area and move to a safe distance. As soon as the threat passes, rescuers return to work, enter the affected sites, and continue extinguishing fires and dealing with the consequences of Russian strikes,” the SES added.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces attacked the Fastiv, Boryspil, Vyshhorod, Brovary and Bucha districts of the Kyiv region overnight and in the morning of August 28.
