A large-scale fire broke out near the Russian military base in temporarily occupied Mariupol on Aug. 4, reported Mariupol mayoral adviser Petro Andryushchenko on Telegram.
He noted that the fire broke out near the Refrigeration Plant, where the occupiers’ new military base is located.
“No details yet, but believe me, they are beautiful,” Andryushchenko emphasized.
The mayor’s adviser mentioned that the entire city is observing the fire, although there have been no detonations so far.
No explosions were heard, but the Russians are “leaving quickly,” according to Andryushchenko.
