For the first time in the war between Russia and Ukraine, a drone attack has taken place on the Russian republic of Chechnya in the North Caucasus.

The drone attack hit the building of the Russian Special Forces University, named after President Vladimir Putin, in the city of Gudermes, the independent news agency Agentstvo reported.

According to reports on social media, there was significant damage to the building and a fierce fire was raging.
