Fedorov believes that Ukraine is slowly losing war, outlines his concept of front line

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov believes that Ukraine is slowly losing the war. The politician made this bold statement in an interview with Reuters.

In his view, Kyiv has a few months to make the key decisions necessary to turn the tide in its favor.

“I think that there’s now a turning point which will determine our future trajectory, but it looks as though we’re gradually, slowly losing,” he noted.

At the same time, Fedorov acknowledges that Ukraine has every chance of winning, but it desperately needs a plan to end the hostilities.

This strategy, in his view, should involve the use of cutting-edge technologies: autonomous drones controlled by artificial intelligence, inexpensive interceptor missiles to repel russian air attacks, and Ukraine’s own ballistic missile programs to turn the tide of the war.

The former head of the Ministry of Defense envisions a front line with minimal human presence, supported by electronic sensors to detect the enemy and utilizing drones on land and in the air.

“Technologies exist already which could completely stop the Russians, but our absence of vision … means we do not apply them,” Fedorov concluded.

As reported yesterday, the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission, which is investigating possible violations of defense legislation, anti-corruption laws, and human rights and freedoms during martial law, summoned Fedorov to ask him a series of questions.
