Operators of the Special Operations Forces (SSO), during aerial reconnaissance in one of the operational directions, discovered the location of the Russian mobile radar station “Kasta-2E2”. The target was struck by one of the newest developments. The MTR reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that this radar model is considered an ultra-modern weapon, which is designed to control airspace, determine coordinates and recognize air targets, including those flying at ultra-low altitudes.
“The Kasta radar was first detected on the territory of Ukraine in 2021 in the occupied Luhansk region. Then the Russians brought equipment to counter attack UAVs. However, ironically, recently the vehicles of the enemy station became the target of attack drones of the Special Operations Forces,” the military informed.
The operators inflicted fire on the Russian radar of one of the newest developments, which entered service with the MTR.

Previously, operators of the 3rd separate regiment of the Special Operations Forces defeated half a division of the Russian Buk air defense system in three weeks. In particular, three air defense systems were hit in late April – early May. The fourth Buk was destroyed by SOF soldiers in May. The enemy target was promptly hit by fire from an attack drone. This is one of the latest new developments that has entered service with the Special Operations Forces.
In addition, military personnel of the Third Assault Brigade destroyed heavy artillery 2S4 “Tulpan” 240-mm caliber in the Kharkov region. The enemy cannon was spotted from the sky and destroyed by an attack drone. After additional reconnaissance, we made control hits and re-hit her with FPV. This powerful installation was designed to destroy the most durable fortifications, shelters, and is capable of hitting with tactical nuclear weapons.
