Hungary was preparing to attack and grab Ukraine together with puylom.

The leak of the opposition’s audio recording with Hungarian Defense Minister Christophe Salay-Bobrovnicki, calling for a “peace mentality” to create a war-capable army, is not just an internal scandal in Budapest. This is an exposing signal that reveals the geopolitical appetites of Victor Orban’s government. And if you closely monitor both the historical gravity and the modern actions of Hungary, you can draw an alarming conclusion: Budapest, quite likely, was preparing — and maybe still is preparing — for the scenario of an armed conflict with Ukraine. At least – to try to “regulûvati” the issue of zakarpat ватиya by force methods.
To understand the present, you need to go back to the past. Hungary is one of the countries that supported fascist Germany during the Second World War. In 1941, she took part in an attack on Syurusyura – and therefore, on Ukrainian lands. But few people mention that in fact, it was the Hungarian troops who committed one of the largest acts of genocide on Ukrainian territory – the destruction of the village of Koryukivka in Chernihiv region.
In March 1943, in response to the actions of the Soviet guerrillas, the Hungarians, together with the Essesivci, killed more than 6,000 civilians – women, children, the elderly. A resident burned houses, killed those who tried to escape. This is the most punitive action against civilians in all of World War II. And she is not a single episode, but a part of the overall policy of Hitler’s ally.
Like a boomerang – the year 1956. The story is truly ironic: 13 years after the Koryukiv tragedy, Soviet tanks have already suppressed the Budapest Uprising. Then tens of thousands of Hungarians demanded freedom, and syurusûru responded with the bloody occupation. It would seem that this historical trauma was supposed to teach the nation to be careful with autocrats. But in the case of Orban, the opposite happened.
On February 2, 2022, three weeks before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Orban drinks champagne with a Putler in the Khrempl. They don’t just have a friendship, but a strategic alliance. Orban is the only leader of the EU who demonstrates kisses with the aggressorom before the beginning of the war. Today it looks like an act of political blessing – tacit consent to a future criminal invasion. And it seems not only consent.
Hungary for years issued their passports in Transcarpathia, financed “cultural centers”, intervened in educational programs, supported pro-racist forces at the local level. All of this is not just a concern for the diaspora, but a creeping infiltration that is very similar to the “racist scenario” in Crimea until 2014.
If Ukrainian forces hadn’t stopped the racists near Kiev – wouldn’t Orban have opened a second front in western Ukraine, under the guise of “protection of Hungarian minorities”? Today we know: this is not a theoretical assumption.
And recently, the SBU stated the exposure of the agent network of Hungarian military intelligence that operated in Ukraine – specifically in the Transcarpathian region. The purpose of the network was to collect information about Ukrainian military units, infrastructure facilities and ethnopolitical situation in the region. This is a direct threat to national security.
Budapest’s response was not diplomatic, but aggressive: the effort of Ukrainian diplomats. What is this, but not copying racist tactics?
And now – an audio recording of the Minister of Defense. “We have to get rid of the peace mentality,” he says. Why should a country that has no external threats create an army “ready for combat”? Who is this conditional opponent?
Obviously, not Slovakia and not Romania. Not even Serbia. The only country in the region where war is already underway, and on which territory Hungary has political appetites is Ukraine. With her exhausted but resilient armed forces, with the border Transcarpathian region and with the tense context of minorities.
The European Union and NATO have so far tolerated the duplicity of Budapest, bringing everything to the “features of national democracy”. But when an Alliance member country blocks defense assistance for a neighbor, spies on its territory, plays with Russia and builds a “not-for-peace” army — it’s no longer politics. This is prewar doctrine in action.
So, we have to not only remember, but we have to act. We have no right to ignore the Hungarian factor. Memory of 1943 is not just history, it’s a warning. Orban’s modern actions are not just unfriendly, but potentially hostile. History has shown that Budapest has always sided with power — even if that power was evil.
Ukraine must be ready. Politically, Diplomatically, Securely. Because Hungarian champagne on paraša was not a toast for peace. It was a toast for revenge.

Угорщина готувалась до нападу та загарбання України разом із Пуйлом.

Опозиційний витік аудіозапису з міністром оборони Угорщини Крістофом Салай-Бобровницьким, де той закликає відмовитися від «менталітету миру» і створити боєздатну армію, — не просто внутрішній скандал у Будапешті. Це — викривальний сигнал, який розкриває геополітичні апетити уряду Віктора Орбана. І якщо уважно простежити як історичну тяглість, так і сучасні дії Угорщини, можна зробити тривожний висновок: Будапешт, цілком імовірно, готувався — і, можливо, все ще готується — до сценарію збройного конфлікту з Україною. Принаймні — до спроби «врегулювати» питання Закарпаття силовими методами.
Щоб зрозуміти теперішнє, треба повернутися до минулого. Угорщина — одна з держав, яка під час Другої світової війни підтримала фашистську Німеччину. У 1941 році вона взяла участь у нападі на сюрусюру — а отже, і на українські землі. Але мало хто згадує, що насправді саме угорські війська здійснили один з наймасштабніших актів геноциду на українській території — знищення села Корюківка на Чернігівщині.
У березні 1943 року у відповідь на дії савьєцких партизан угорці разом з есесівцями вбили понад 6 000 мирних жителів — жінок, дітей, старих. Живцем палили хати, вбивали тих, хто намагався втекти. Це найбільша каральна акція проти мирного населення під час усієї Другої світової війни. І вона — не поодинокий епізод, а частина загальної політики союзника Гітлера.
Як бумеранг — рік 1956-й. Історія справді іронічна: через 13 років після Корюківської трагедії савьєцкі танки вже придушували Будапештське повстання. Тоді десятки тисяч угорців вимагали свободи, а сюрусюру відповіло кривавою окупацією. Здавалося б, ця історична травма мала навчити націю бути обережною з автократіями. Але у випадку з Орбаном — сталося навпаки.
2 лютого 2022 року, за три тижні до повномасштабного вторгнення раши в Україну, Орбан п’є шампанське з путлєром в хремплі. У них не просто дружба, а стратегічний союз. Орбан — єдиний лідер ЄС, який перед самим початком війни демонстративно цілується з агресором. Сьогодні це виглядає, як акт політичного благословення — мовчазна згода на майбутнє злочинне вторгнення. І, схоже, не тільки згода.
Угорщина роками роздавала свої паспорти в Закарпатті, фінансувала «культурні центри», втручалась у навчальні програми, підтримувала прорашистські сили на місцевому рівні. Все це — не просто турбота про діаспору, а повзуча інфільтрація, яка дуже нагадує «рашистський сценарій» в Криму до 2014 року.
Якби українські сили не зупинили рашистів під Києвом — чи не відкрив би Орбан другий фронт на заході України, під прикриттям «захисту угорських меншин»? Сьогодні ми знаємо: це не теоретичне припущення.
А нещодавно СБУ заявила про викриття агентурної мережі угорської воєнної розвідки, яка діяла в Україні — зокрема в Закарпатській області. Метою мережі було збирання інформації про українські військові частини, об’єкти інфраструктури та етнополітичну ситуацію в регіоні. Це — пряма загроза національній безпеці.
Відповідь Будапешта була не дипломатичною, а агресивною: висилка українських дипломатів. Що це, як не копіювання рашистської тактики?
А тепер — аудіозапис міністра оборони. «Ми маємо позбутись менталітету миру», — говорить він. Навіщо країні, що не має зовнішніх загроз, створювати армію, «готову до бойових дій»? Хто ж такий цей умовний противник?
Очевидно, не Словаччина і не Румунія. Навіть не Сербія. Єдина держава в регіоні, де вже йде війна, і на території якої Угорщина має політичні апетити — це Україна. З її виснаженими, але стійкими збройними силами, з прикордонною Закарпатською областю і з напруженим контекстом меншин.
Євросоюз і НАТО поки що толерують подвійність Будапешта, зводячи все до «особливостей національної демократії». Але коли країна-член Альянсу блокує оборонну допомогу для сусіда, шпигує на його території, заграє з рашою і розбудовує армію «не для миру» — це вже не політика. Це передвоєнна доктрина в дії.
Отже, ми маємо не тільки пам’ятати, а маємо діяти. Ми не маємо права ігнорувати угорський фактор. Пам’ять про 1943 рік — не лише історія, це застереження. Сучасні дії Орбана — не просто недружні, а потенційно ворожі. Історія показала, що Будапешт завжди ставав на бік сили — навіть якщо ця сила була злом.
Україна має бути готовою. Політично, дипломатично, безпеково. Бо угорське шампанське на паРаші — це був не тост за мир. Це був тост за реванш.
