What are the odds this fascist manifestation ends up in one of Putin’s private villas? Or traded to an oligarch for money?
I would disagree with the term “fascist manifestation “.
He was a brilliant commander who openly acknowledged that he could not have defeated the Nazis without the help from the West.
After the war he was stabbed in the back by Stalin, who could not afford to have someone more famous than himself.Stalin stripped Zhukov off all his posts and sent to the remote southern city of Odessa to head a local military district. Quite a humiliating exile for a war hero of this magnitude.
I would defer to your position SA, thanks. History is the best teacher. Usually I consider all the Soviets a fascist manifestation but I suppose there might have been some that had freedom in mind.
