In a historic moment, a Ukrainian Air Force F-16 has shot down a Russian Su-35 over Yurasovo in Kursk, marking the first confirmed air-to-air victory of the war for the newly delivered Western jets. The incident occurred on 7th June 2025, and comes as part of Ukraine’s broader effort to push back Russian air superiority using NATO-supplied aircraft.
The Su-35 has been in production since 1991 and is supposed to be a 4.5 gen plane according to mafia land. This particular plane was manufactured in 2014, yet somehow this junk was shot down by a plane that ceased to be produced after 1993.
