On the night of November 28, explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea . It was loudest in the area of the Sakskaya CHPP.
After the explosions and the work of Russian air defense, a fire broke out on the territory of a local chemical plant. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”.
What is known
On Friday morning, Crimean Wind published footage sent by one of its subscribers, taken near the city of Saki. It shows attempts by Russian air defenses to shoot down targets in the air.
“More nighttime footage of the Saki airfield in your morning feed. Shooting and explosions,” the video was captioned in the public.
A little later, “Krymsky veter” clarified : a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises located near the Sakskaya CHPP. PJSC NPO “Yodobrom” is on fire : the fire was recorded by satellites.
It is known that “Iodobrom” is engaged in the production of chemical products, produces reactive iodine “pure”, potassium iodide of reactive qualifications, potassium iodide, sodium iodide OSCH, triiodomethane, dibromodiphenyl, epibromohydrin, trimethyloctadecyl ammonium bromide, tetrabromomethane; flame retardants – finely dispersed aluminum hydroxide modified with various finishes, based on organobromine compounds, based on ammonium polyphosphate. It also specializes in the manufacture of non-standardized corrosion-resistant equipment made of titanium and stainless steel for chemical production, the nomenclature includes capacitive equipment, fans and pumps, sucker filters, heat exchangers.
“Yodobrom” is located 250 m from the Sakskaya CHP.
” Drones flew in the area in the evening and at night, shots were fired and explosions were heard,” the Crimean Wind channel added.
OBOZ.UA previously reported that satellite images confirmed the damage to the Sakskaya CHP in occupied Crimea. It was attacked a little over a week ago.
