Residents of Crimea complained on the evening of March 6 about explosions due to a massive attack by UAVs and missiles , and the air defense of the Russian occupation forces was also working. The network stated that the main target was the invaders’ airfields.
Previously, there were arrivals on the peninsula. The Telegram channel ” Crimean Wind ” reports that it was loud in Sevastopol (in particular, on the northern side, near the Belbek and Kacha airfields, also in the area of Kamyshova Bay and Cape Fiolent); in the village of Zaozerne near Yevpatoria; in Saki and Novofedorivka , where there is also an enemy airbase.
According to information at 11:50 p.m., there were series of “bangs”, the most of them in Sevastopol.
During the attack, passenger sea transport in the area of this city stopped operating.

The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, confirmed the attack and the work of Russian air defenses. He later wrote: “According to the information of the Sevastopol Rescue Service, no facilities in the city were damaged.”
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of February 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of strategic targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. One of the main targets of the strike was the Saki and Kacha military airfields , as well as the Tuapse Oil Refinery, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated.
