Explosions near Belgorod again / Russian media

The Russians again had a bad day. And again in the Belgorod region. 

An explosion followed by a fall of debris occurred today in Tomarovka, Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine. This is reported by Reuters, citing eyewitnesses.

According to one eyewitness, the explosions were so powerful that windows rattled in her house in Belgorod.

The explosions came days after the Russian Defense Ministry announced  that a rocket had allegedly been fired from Ukrainian territory near Belgorod. But, according to analysts from the Conflict Intelligence Team , it was released by Russia.

Explosions in Belgorod: what is known

On March 30 and April 1, a series of explosions took place in Belgorod at ammunition depots and an oil depot. 

The likely loss of fuel and ammunition stocks from these depots will create a short-term additional burden on Russia’s already tightened supply chains,  British intelligence stated .

The support of the Russian troops surrounding Kharkov (60 km from Belgorod) may especially suffer.
