A Russian patrol vessel was attacked by Ukrainian naval drones.
The occupying Black Sea Fleet continues to sink. Amid news of the sinking of the patrol ship Sergei Kotov, Russian propagandists published a video of the moment of defeat.
As noted, the boat “Sergey Kotov” was hit by Ukrainian naval drones near Feodosia (Crimea). In footage published online, the sound of gunfire can be heard. Apparently, the Russians tried to destroy the naval drones, but they managed to achieve their goal.

At the end of the video, the drone can be heard crashing into a patrol boat. There is a loud explosion and the ship is engulfed in flames.

Interestingly, the ship was named after the Soviet sailor, Rear Admiral Sergei Kotov. He also died in Feodosia.

As UNIAN reported, explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea at night. Another Russian military vessel probably sank to the bottom .
As Z-publics reported, the military boat “Sergey Kotov” was likely the target of a night attack by naval drones. According to some propagandists, the ship sank. The fate of the crew is unknown.
Subsequently, the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed that the ship was indeed hit by Ukrainian naval drones.

As obvious by the design, a rather new construction, not an old clunker of the Soviet era, and the Kotov was the newest ship of her class, she had joined the fleet July 30th, 2022. That’s great, better than sinking a rusty old bucket! Also, she seems to have been able to carry Kalibr cruise missiles. So, scratch another launch platform! Excellent! 😎👍

The official video by the defense industry of Ukraine! Shows many details, like how the explosion of one drone hid the next on from view. That one hit at the stern, under the heli platform. A later one hit at the exact same spot (apparently a frequently used tactic) and shows the huge hole and destruction inside. That ship has become yet another involuntary submarine, no doubt about it.

Oh, damn, that’s 52 more soldiers which soon will have to be killed at the frontline, I’m concerned. ☹
Probably even 58. There’s lotsa reports showing that the Russian army sends soldiers back to the front as soon as their wounds stop bleeding. 🙁
