According to the expert, BTR-4E is the best armored combat vehicle created after the collapse of the USSR.

The Ukrainian BTR-4E  is “dismantling brick by brick” the positions of Russian troops in the Kharkiv village of Hlyboke, military and political observer Oleksandr Kovalenko said, commenting on the relevant footage that appeared online.

According to the expert, the BTR-4E is the best armored combat vehicle created after the collapse of the USSR, which was significantly ahead of the entire line of Russian APCs.

“Unfortunately, the export possibilities of the BTR-4E were hindered by large-scale Russian informational discrediting in any country where this BBM showed interest. Everything was done in order to promote the inferior BTR-82 and the next throwaway BMP/BMD families,” Kovalenko noted. .

According to him, during the hostilities since 2014, the BTR-4E has revealed the full range of its advantages:

“It’s a pity that due to the Russian lobby and the lack of sufficient income from BTR-4E exports, Ukraine was unable to secure more state orders for these wonderful machines,” the expert added.
