According to John Bolton, such an invitation is a big victory for the Russian dictator.

Former US President Donald Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton has spoken out about the invitation of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to Alaska. According to him, the initial situation is still a big victory for the Russian president. He expressed this opinion on CNN.
“Well, it was very nice of Putin to come to the former Russian America for this summit. It’s not as bad as Trump inviting the Taliban to Camp David in Afghanistan, but it’s a reminder. The only better place for Putin than Alaska would be in Moscow,” Bolton said.
Putin is a rogue leader of a pariah state and will now be welcomed in the US, according to a former Trump adviser.
“Secondly, there is a sense that everything is quickly tipping in Russia’s favor. We are not quite back to February 28 in the Oval Office, when Trump told Zelensky, ‘You have no cards.’ But now Russia and the United States are discussing the conditions they will present to Zelensky, and it is quite possible that Zelensky has no choice here,” he believes.
Bolton on Putin’s invitation to Alaska
Bolton stressed that the day when such a proposal was made was not the best from a strategic point of view and from the interests of the United States.
“Capitulation is always the way to achieve peace, and it seems when you listen to Trump talk about progress that even without a meeting, Putin has regained his magic with Trump, and all the disappointment and indignation has changed to talk of a deal between Trump and Putin,” the former adviser to the US president added.
Putin and Trump talks – what is known
Earlier, Sky News reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin agreed to come to Alaska to see Trump for two reasons. One is that the United States is not a member of the International Criminal Court, so the Russian president will not face arrest. In addition, sanctions will be lifted from the Kremlin leader so that he can visit the country.
“Rather than impose sanctions on Russia, as Trump has threatened in recent days, the US will lift them. Even if it is temporary, it would be highly symbolic and a huge victory for Moscow. The American leader may think he has it all under control – a peacekeeping president ordering a belligerent aggressor into his territory – but the visuals are more than satisfying for Putin. It would be a decisive end to his international isolation,” explained Sky News correspondent Ivor Bennett.
Another reason is that as a result of the meeting Putin will get what he wants – the opportunity to divide neighboring territories without Kyiv’s participation. Russia also wants permanent neutrality of Ukraine and the limitation of its armed forces, which is part of a geopolitical strategy to prevent NATO expansion.

A hard core Pro-Russian President in America, during this terrible war…………..and he wants the Nobelprice for Peace, what can go wrong?
“But now Russia and the United States are discussing the conditions they will present to Zelensky, and it is quite possible that Zelensky has no choice here,”
Someone once told Zelensky he has no cards, that soon got flipped. If TACO thinks Ukraine will capitulate, he doesn’t know Ukrainians one little bit.
I SEE ONLY ONE PERSON CAPITULATING 3 TIMES PER DAY…………….
Then when Ukraine tell TACO, no chance. He’ll accuse Ukraine of not wanting peace.
Alaska is key here It was ones part of Russia and has no borders with the USA as far as i know. Some interesting deal is cooked up………
Moscow: we are interested in more trade with Alaska and their fishing grounds haha
