Mobilization centers will be established at temporary accommodation points.

Russians who fled the war in the Kursk region may be recruited to work to support the army and defense.

This is stated in the decree of the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, on the work of temporary residence points for the population, writes the Kursk newspaper Gorodskie Izvestia .

It is stated that these points must ensure security and provide temporary shelter for civilians, especially the elderly, women and children. These same people, in case of urgent need, can be called upon “to do light work aimed at supporting the army and defense.”

“Mobilization centers will be organized at the specified points, the main task of which will be to consolidate the male population to defend their native region. Preliminary consultations and activities to provide military personnel with the necessary equipment and uniforms will be held with the men at the points,” the statement says.

It is noted that all this should strengthen Russia’s defense capability, therefore the time requires “maximum concentration and dedication” from the residents of the Kursk region.
