Russia’s economy is now projected to slow dramatically and even perform worse than Ukraine’s in 2026. Ukraine destroyed billions of dollars worth of radars and air defense systems in 2025. Trump views Europe as weak and believes he can bully Europe into surrendering Greenland to him.
