The European Union and its member states expect to increase the supply of artillery ammunition to Ukraine this year, in particular to reach 2 million.
As Censor.NET reports with reference to European Truth, this was stated by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kallas, at a briefing on the occasion of the meeting of the Ukraine-EU Association Council.
According to Kallas, the European Commission believes it is possible to increase the number of artillery ammunition ordered and transferred to Ukraine to 2 million pieces.
“The EU and member states can achieve this result already this year. Since we started the dialogue with member states, Ukraine has already received over a million shells – in the form of orders or promises.
