The EU continues to expect Russia to stop all violations of international law in the Crimean peninsula.
The European Union (EU) says drafting residents of the Russia-occupied Crimean peninsula in the Russian army violates international law.
“The Russian Federation is carrying out conscription in the illegally-annexed Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to draft residents of the peninsula in the Russian Federation Armed Forces. This is a violation of international humanitarian law,” an EU spokesperson said in an April 13 statement on the attempted conscription in Crimea.
“The Russian Federation is bound by international law, and obliged to ensure the protection of human rights in the peninsula,” the statement said. The EU says it does not and will not recognize the illegal annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol. It continues to expect Russia to stop all violations of international law in the Crimean peninsula. “The European Union is unwavering in its support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders,” the statement said.

I think Ukraine would be better served if the EU threw cabbage over the Kremlin walls than issue this statement again for the 300th time…
Imagine the US would behave like this. The whole red army from Putin’s EU would shitstorm us 24/7. I could say russians are lucky, but concerning the shithole they live in – they’re not…
Soon Putler will nuke Moskovia himself, just not with a bomb. I think his oligarchs are going to turn on him and blame the coronavirus. Ooops…..:)))
Here a good read for everybody: 😉

How do you mean? Also the U.S. currently is an excellent “urger”, but not a “do’er”. They produce similar statements all the time without any threat.
And not just them, all Western countries. The West only condemns, but sanctions haven’t been expanded for a long time
90% of all military aid for Ukraine is coming from Washington, and sanctions on Nordstream were added. Not to mention that you did not understand my comment, since i was pointing out how it would be if the US would behave like Russia…
No that was exactly what I thought: I did not understand your comment.
Yes, the U.S. does not help a lot but more than the EU countries and the U.K. But I mean, they are also sending this “urging” press releases, just like the EU.
